Exiled World
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
‘Exiled World’ is a 2D platformer, where the player takes the role of a character named Val who is trapped in a world shrouded in darkness and neglected by humanity. This harsh and unforgiving environment is filled to the brim with dangerous flora which player has to avoid. Val armed with nothing but a lantern strives to traverse this world in search of something to end her descent into madness.
Arrow keys to move
Z key to jump (Press twice to perform a double jump)
Press Z while against a vertical wall to perform a wall jump
Left-Shift to dash (Use arrow keys to dash a specific direction)

Install instructions
Windows:
- Extract the file
- Open 'ExiledWorld.exe'
Mac (Solution 1 - Security and Privacy):
- If the following messages "The application can't be opened" or "is damaged and can't be opened" pop up then do the following to fix it:
- Open System Preferences
- Go to Security and Privacy
- Click the General tab
- Make sure to check that the 'Anywhere' option under 'Allow apps downloaded from:' is selected.
- If 'Anywhere' option is not present then click the link below for help on how to enable it.
Mac (Solution 2 - USB):
- If the option 'Anywhere' in Security and Privacy is checked and program still is not opening then do the following:
- Put the downloaded zip onto a USB
- Extract the file onto the USB
- Open the app
